ntonio and Suzhou collaborate celebrating their ten year friendship city anniversary. These sister cities have produced several activities in the context of San Antonio Heritage Festival which will take place this week with outdoor and virtual activities.
Some activities that they are holding are:
- An outdoor exhibit of Suzhou Classical Gardens, a world heritage designation at their own World Heritage Designations, Mission San Jose. This outdoor exhibit is open to foot traffic but are also available for viewing on the website of their World Heritage Office as well.
- Co-production of a video highlighting both cities world heritage assets. The video can be found on San Antonio’s world heritage website.
- Mayor Nirenberg’s remarks highlighting the anniversary exhibit which was posted as a separate video.
