Maya is a rising senior at Paul W. Bryant High School in Tuscaloosa, AL. She is a long distance runner on Bryant’s cross country and track teams and sings in the Alabama Choir School. Maya recently started BHS Young Mentors to tutor students at local elementary schools. In her free time, she enjoys writing, volunteering at a local children's museum, and playing the violin.
